Being in Tune

A collaboration with The Ark and the Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness

Since June of 2015 Mindful City Ann Arbor, The Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness and The Ark have collaborated to offer a weekly 1/2 hour sit. Free of charge and open to the public, this sit has no religious affiliation and is led by experienced meditation instructors. No experience necessary. More info here.

Mindfulness Hike & Yoga

A collaboration with Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission

Date:       March 22, 2020

Time:       4:00pm - 5:30pm

Fee:         Free of charge

Location: Scio Woods Preserve

We'll start with 15 minutes of gentle yoga, followed by an hour of forest bathing in the newly awakened spring woods, then we'll finish with yoga and reflection. Led by Julie Woodward, Co-founder of Mindful City Ann Arbor and parks naturalist Elle Bogle. No registration is required.  Please contact jawh@comcast.net with any questions.

Today is Earth Day!  Enjoy a mindful evening hike! Connect with nature as the sun goes down and the frog calls rise from the ponds and wetlands of this beautiful spring woods.  Hike Led by Julie Woodward, Co-founder of Mindful City Ann Arbor, and Washtenaw County Park naturalist Shawn Severance.
